When I was 31, the FBI visited me. The reason was a job offer that I turned down. At that time, I was doing interesting work and my hobby of cybersecurity was only in my free time or contracts with companies that needed penetration testers.
When the newspapers published such false information, I did not understand why and how it happened. At first, it was not easy to talk about it. After I deleted all the false information about myself and realized that I had a problem with the FBI and that the FBI does not hire criminals, it was easier for me to talk about it. Then I was offered to work for the local police, which I refused. More precisely, in 2011, several people met with my family and asked me to get involved with the police and there are witnesses to this. I was not interested in such work, especially not through the police. I managed to help people who had vulnerable servers, and applications and even stop DDOS attacks. All this brought me an excellent reputation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Croatia.
The FBI offer was something I turned down, and the reason was that I didn't fit into that world. It's one thing to explore the internet on my own, and it's another to work for someone under pressure and for a government agency. As a member of the hacker community that relies on freedom and the growth of knowledge through connecting with others, I really had no place in the world of the FBI and agents.
My interest is to work for the benefit of society and ordinary people. Or to enjoy having fun and having free time.
